Knowledge of The Heart

Knowledge absorbed by the mind is fickle. Sometimes it stays, other times it fades. Knowledge that descends from the mind, down into the heart, remains forever. It takes root and changes lives.

Heart knowledge doesn't have to be earth shattering to be profound. A simple change in perception - seeing something through the eyes of the heart instead of the eyes of the mind - can alter the way you look at yourself, look at others or look at the world in general.

The grandest and the simplest of my life's lessons have come from the heart.

My heart taught me that a cemetery is only a scary place until someone you love is laid to rest. It then becomes a place of quiet tasks - grass clippings brushed from a headstone, flowers arranged and rearranged. It becomes a place where you leave the world at the gates and devote time to tender memories.

My heart taught me that the lifeblood of my country isn't the rights and freedoms I enjoy. It is the heart I see in the weeping eyes of our Veterans on Remembrance Day. It is the cost exacted from their souls for love of the land I am privileged to call home.

My heart taught me that every generation has its heroes. They aren't found on the television or movie screen, on the radio or in major sports. Heroes are busy, away from the limelight, doing what heroes do best - putting others before themselves. From the major cities and quiet hamlets in the industrialized world, to the most desolate and destitute places on earth, there are heroes to be found. All we have to do - to find them - is stop looking in the wrong places.

My heart taught me that loneliness has nothing to do with being by myself and everything to do with filling a God-shaped hole in the center of my being. Some of my loneliest experiences have been in the presence of other people.

My heart taught me that puppy kisses and hugs from small children can heal a whole lot of hurt.

My heart taught me that I catch on 'real quick' and suddenly 'get it', when a lesson I've refused to learn is repeated in the lives of my children.

My heart taught me to stop hatred, fear, disrespect and prejudice at the front door of my home. I can't stop all the ugliness in the world, but I can create a safe haven for the hearts and souls of my family by refusing the ugliness entrance into my home.

My heart taught me that trying to change people is best left in God's hands. They will fall into every pothole they refuse to go around and hit every wall they willingly run toward, regardless of how much I want to save them from suffering through the consequences of their actions. I can help pick up their broken pieces in the aftermath, but God can use their self-inflicted pain to help them make better choices in the future.

My heart taught me that my own personal happiness is my own personal responsibility. Putting that responsibility on someone else's shoulders is unfair. The burden is heavy. It's also unrealistic. No one was put on earth for the sole purpose of making me happy.

My heart taught me that compassion isn't a gift I can give to someone else's heart. It is a gift of spirit I can only grow in my own heart. I can plant seeds, but I can't make someone care about the hungry, the lonely or the oppressed people in the world around them. My efforts only make them pretend to care - when I'm around them.

My heart taught me that walking out the church door is the holiest moment of a Sunday morning service. Either I take the message with me and make it part of my life, or I leave it in the sanctuary, tucked away till the following Sunday morning.

My heart taught me that time-worn advice doesn't always wear out. The old adage to remember the sun when it's raining and remember the rain when the sun is shining, contains more wisdom than many modern day theories and philosophies.

My heart taught me that missing someone is a very real ache. It comes from a place where another heart has touched my own and left a permanent imprint.

My heart taught me that birth really is a miracle. A new baby, fresh from heaven, is a new chance, for a new heart, to bring new light into this old world.

Hidden heartbeats hold threads of wisdom that forever lie inside of me - and forever lie inside of you.

11:11?!

Had a bunch of people recently start bringing up the twice-daily phenomenon of 11:11 to me, so I started reading up on what it supposedly means.Since the advent of digital faced readouts around the world, low and behold,people have started seeing things like 11:11 a lot more! Me, I see 12.34. One two three four. Coincidence? Not really. That particular moment has happened twice a day, everyday, since the concept of calculable time began. It happened before too, but we as a species hadn't yet given it a name, so we didn't think to call it anything.

Now...for the offended new-agers out there, yes something is coming. Yes, we need to be prepared, and yes, only a minute amount of the current human species is going to survive what's coming. I am just sick of hearing all this silly BS thrown into the pot along with the sensible stuff! Synchronicity is far deeper than simply seeing a number series repeatedly! When we started using digital readouts around the world, it was inevitable that we would start seeing numbers in sequence more often! It is not some new message from the "celestial jokesters!" I have had street lights go off as I pass them for most of my nearly 50 years! I have seen number series pop up in my life since before there were digital readouts on any computer anywhere. Hell, back then, it took a computer the size of a complete floor of an office building three weeks to successfully calculate 2 + 2!

I think everyone's been watching too much TV and too many movies frankly, and has lost sight of what the 2012 time is about. Even Heroes is misleading. Yes, there is something coming, but no one, I repeat- NO ONE, is out there with special powers preparing to save the world. All the powers we will have at our use are already within us and completely unmeasurable by current scientific methods. Why? Because they are not of the five senses. I played guinea pig for a psi research bunch back in my early 20's, and the stupid crap they would have me do.....my lord. I am excellent at bio-feedback now, but they learned next to nothing about the psychic side of me, because they insisted on trying to measure it with physical means.

All they did was teach me how to control machinery with controlling my body (blood pressure, breathing, muscle reaction- meaning bio-feedback...)I actually got one girl to leave, change her direction of study by getting her to understand that what is not physical cannot be measured by the physical. And I got caught by at least one guy doing a lie-detector test on me for a job! He could tell I was staying in a delta wave mode! Dang! Caught! ;p


Okay. I am done with the rant. Those who are willing to be distracted by little human-made details like this are probably not among the survivors.Those who are quiet and observant do not need to be told that such details are pointless. All things man made are due to pass into the wind. Everything we currently know will be some archeologist's curiosity in the future. I am working so that there might still BE a person here to try to decipher what we are (were) and where we are screwing up (failed). And hopefully, the standard folly of the human species will also be bred out, and we will actually learn from the mistakes of the past.

1111? 1212? 1234?

In the end, they mean nothing, anymore than does the Julian calendar, or the clockface on Big Ben. WE invented those measurements. They will pass away with us.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration, continuing its campaign of censorship against truthfully-described herbal supplements, seized $71,000 worth of Charantea herbal supplements last week in a raid involving U.S. Marshals. The company, Fulllife Natural Options, was accused by the FDA of marketing an "unapproved drug" due to the truthful marketing claims that accurately describe the blood sugar lowering effects of the product's main ingredient: Bitter Melon fruits.

According to the Food and Drug Administration, there is no such thing as an herb, food or supplement that has any biological activity whatsoever on the human body (other than simply providing calories), and any person who dares to make such a claim is immediately considered to be in violation of the FDA's authority. Any substance that has any therapeutic effect whatsoever on the human body is considered by the FDA to be a "drug" and must be approved as such -- a lengthy process costing about $800 million and requiring the favor of an agency that practically works for Big Pharma.

The FDA is well known for its censorship efforts against nutritional supplements. Earlier this year, the agency sent threatening letters to 29 cherry growers, warning them to remove all links to scientific literature describing the anti-inflammatory effects of phytonutrients found in cherries. Merely linking to such studies from a web page, the FDA warned, instantly transformed cherries into drugs requiring FDA approval. The FDA believes that the dissemination of scientific information about the health benefits of fruits, vegetables and plants simply cannot be tolerated.

Censoring truthful health claims of nutritional supplements
While the FDA claims it raided the Charantea company in order to protect consumers from mislabeled products, the truth is that the agency -- which operates a criminal prescription drug racket that should be prosecuted under organized crime laws -- is far more interested in protecting the market for pharmaceuticals. Herbal tea products that effectively lower blood sugar are seen as competition for high-profit diabetes drugs. The most effective way to protect the market for patented pharmaceuticals is to disrupt the business operations of those selling natural alternatives such as herbal teas, and that's exactly why this raid took place.

From a scientific standpoint, there is absolutely no question that drinking bitter melon as a tea (or taking it as a supplement) helps regulate blood sugar. Cinnamon has a similar effect, as do many other herbs. These medicinal plants have been used for thousands of years to support human health. By terrorizing fruit growers, herbal tea companies and nutritional supplement manufacturers, the Food and Drug Administration continues to exercise iron-grip control over the printing of any information regarding the true medicinal applications of foods and plants. The FDA's censorship campaign is, by any measure, outrageously successful, and any company that dares to tell the truth about its own products is very much aware that they risk being put out of business by this rogue agency.

Bitter melon really works to help regulate blood sugar. In my view, it works better than diabetes drugs. Of course, what really works best overall is to stop eating processed foods and sugar, and switch to a raw living foods diet. Diabetes usually disappears within 30 - 60 days, never to return as long as you stay with the raw foods diet. There are many cures for diabetes, but the medical establishment does not want consumers to know about any of them because there's simply far too much profit to be found in the ongoing treatment of "lifetime diabetics."

This, folks, is exactly why the FDA attacks nutritional supplement companies. There's a revenue stream at stake here, and patients must remain diseased in order for Big Pharma to profit from them. I can only pray that, in time, these people will be made to answer for their crimes, and that freedom will be returned to the people in the form of a Health Freedom Protection Act that ends the decades of censorship that the FDA has enforced against nutritional supplement companies. The FDA represents an imminent threat to the health and safety of the American people, and its actions are far more dangerous to Americans than all the terrorists in the world. Statistically speaking, even a nuclear bomb going off in a major U.S. city would not equal the number of deaths caused by the FDA in just the last five years. This is an agency that is, without question, an enemy of the American people and a purveyor of death and disease.

I have refrained from writing about Wicca and its more intricate parts here, because unless one is a student of the Way, the knowledge is supposed to remain hidden. That one is probably a bit hard to swallow for some, considering how many books are out there encouraging all sorts of novices into attempting things without understanding the potential implications. That's what happens when those barely above novice themselves think they are WISE enough to write guidance for others. I agree that one teaches best what one most needs to know, but true WISDOM teaches that not all knowledge should put on the platter at one time. It is dangerous to make assumptions about people's morality, while giving access to potential power to harm others. It goes against the very grain of Wicca. The quote is actually from the O.T.O., Aleister Crowley's bunch, but is applies to any well-meaning pagan: "An So Ye Harm None, Do What Thou Wilt." Let me translate: An means IF...not AND. Harming none means not even yourself. Do what thou wilt is not license to greed, avarice, or decadence (something horribly misunderstood by too many who call themselves OTO, or OAA.) The whole quote in essence means that as long as you are not doing anything morally wrong, pretty much go for it. We ALL know in our minds and hearts what is truly Wrong. We know it before we do the action, though we may still do it, feeling it to be for the right in the long term. Acceptance of the consequences of one's actions is proof that one also has wisdom.

I digress a bit. A friend and student had his patience and his morality tested recently and reacted as many of us might under the same circumstances. I make no apologies for his choices, but rather want to emphasize what he now knows: binding spells, spells that attack another or attempt to force another's will should be considered FORBIDDEN.

Once, and only once, in this life, I attempted to bind someone I loved dearly, thinking I was helping him stay a course. I bloody well nearly killed him, and removed that binding so fast I suspect his head spun. He never, ever knew what I had done, nor will he, but I know what it cost me in the long run: his friendship. All spells of this nature have a tendency to rebound on the caster, and as one who has taught quite a few now, I cannot state enough that they rarely do what we try set in motion, but often more trouble than there was before.

What my young friend did, he knew within a few hours was probably not very smart, but it is also very hard to take back. He will have to deal with any consequences born of the spell, good or bad, knowing he brought them to his own doorstep, thru blindness and irrationality. Still, even the best of us can find ourselves tried to the point of exploding. I hope for his sake, and the sake of the child involved in all this that it smooths over, leaving him to raise his daughter with a smidgen of greater wisdom.

We often have to fall down to truly understand how to stand up.

There is a REASON for a year and a day. There is a reason why studying the Kabalah used to be limited to those who were over 40 and had gone the path of family and children already. Wisdom is not something one can get out of a book. If fact, no teacher can grant you that either. We can speak what we know, but we cannot give the experience to anyone else, not even thru visions. It is something that each must attain with time, and age. As much as anyone under 25 hates hearing it,unless have you walked to the very gates of Hel itself (the correct spelling incidentally,) survived every possible horror the world could offer up, and managed to hold your grace and your temper, you do not in all likelihood have the remotest clue what I am talking about.
Trust me, like it or not, you will. And you will look back at the arrogance of your youth with as much embarassment as most of us do. It's okay. It's called growing up.

I think I got off subject a bit. Sometimes I just need to get stuff out. I know these same words are going to bounce right off the brains of the onesI think I am aiming them out, and later, they will look back, realise, and hit their foreheads with the stupidity of realization. Just don't screw with magic....I don't mean those jackass sleight of hand people on TV, I mean the real stuff. It is quite real, and only meant to be a tool. It cannot change your life if you aren't willing to change. It can do you great harm, if your eyes aren't open.

And learn from a real person- not a bunch of freakin' books.......too many opinions, too many directions, only lead to confusion. We don't need any more of that in this world......

Bee-ware

no bees + flowers = humans having to pollinate another way.....or starve

The fact that the European honeybee, an introduced species in this country, is being affected by some virus that is devastating its numbers is not exactly news. What may be news to some city-dwelling, ever-blind eyed humans is just how dependant the farming community has become on these little devastators for pollination of the massive number of crops we non-farming sorts consume every year.
What do I mean by calling bees devastators? I also said they were an introduced, i.e., not native, species. When honeybees were first brought here by Western European settlers, for honey mostly, but also because the groups brought their own fruit trees as well, the bees ended up making a real mess for the native pollinators: bumblebees, some wasps, a number of beetles, and a few bird species. We actually lost a variety of species due to lack of food availability, caused by the introduction of the dear honeybee. Our own North American honey bee species, not big honey producers comparatively, were crowded out, and no longer exist.

Strike one.

After taking the space meant for local pollinators, the European honeybee weaseled its way into the heart of the growing American public with its mild mannered ways, and prolific amounts of honey and royal jelly to sweeten our lives. Until sugar processing became more common, honey was a gift of the gods and to heck with the occasional sting. We humans got greedy though. Even with sugar on our table and in almost every food, it wasn't enough. We had to keep tinkering with genes and breeding and interweaving what we did not and do not understand and, voila! The Africanized honeybee.
Massively more protective of its territory, harder than heck to handle for domestic use, and violent and persist ant in its attack on any interloper, we shrugged off its appearance in our world. Yet...despite lessons shown, we failed to learn, and kept trying to interbreed where Nature did not intend it. As a result, humans have introduced a fatal virus to the simple honeybee which now devastates its populations, leaving niches throughout the country ready to be filled by the far more aggressive Africanized bee. It used to be rare for a person to die from bee stings- no longer.

Strike two.

Just saw a show about this situation, and realised how incredibly blind humans are still being. China managed to kill off its honeybees and other pollinators with pesticides, and now fruit tree farmers are quite literally having to pollinate their own trees, just so fruit will be produced. It is a back-breaking and unsustainable method. Humans screwed with the complex and fragile system Nature had created and humans will pay with starvation ultimately. (And just so you know, if a pear farmer in this country had to do what these folks are doing, one pear would cost you about $30. That's not by the pound.)

There are cycles like this popping up, and finally being recognised, all over the world. Our population is too big and the food sources are going to dry up, mostly due to our own stupidity. Humanity will not go out with a bang, but rather a whimper, from hunger, and maybe realization. We have done it all to ourselves, due to a lack of foresight. Killing off whales has lead to several other species being threatened with extinction, all because there aren't enough whales to keep the krill and plankton in check........and guess who's to blame for that?

What an irony. Nature made things in balance, a plan and a place for everything- even us at one time. Our ARROGANCE, our gluttony, our religiously-based idiotic belief that we are superior to all life and can use what ever we want,to whatever degree we want will be our own destruction. The cycle is started, and frankly, I can't see anyway to stop it. It isn't a matter of IF it will happen, that the whole of humanity will pass as did the dinosaurs......it is a matter of WHEN.

Gratitude

I am grateful for my health....for the roof over my head. For my family, blood and not.....For my friends and what binds them to me. I look in grief on my world sometimes, only to be reminded now and again by things outside myself that I am wealthy beyond words.

An acquaintance of mine, fellow fan of of one particular band, is facing his own mortality, and there is nothing anyone can really do. There is no cure for MS, only things to help one cope a little longer in this life. He has been writing things lately that make me think he wants to give up this fight of his, and it saddens me horribly. He has always been a feisty fellow, someone with a strong zest for life, even when faced with a shortened one.

We each must face death eventually, and most of us don't do it with a whole lot of grace. There is a certain level of fear in most of us about the unknown, and death is probably the biggest unknown there is. The only thing I can tell anyone is to hold onto whatever belief you have about the afterlife, because it is what can give you comfort as the time creeps closer....and it does, for all of us. Wondering if you are right matters not, because if what is there is truly oblivion, no one will ever know. If faith of any kind makes your life better here, as long as you harm none in the doing, then that faith has served its purpose.

I wish I could offer my friend more than just parables and condolences. Sometimes, one can do only so much. The walk must be faced alone at times. He has hit one of those times, and must find whatever path he will choose on his own. For myself, this is one of the times I find that words fail me. Nothing I say or do will make any real changes for him. Ultimately, he will be the one to change things.

I've said it maybe too much in this blog, but I cannot emphasize enough: appreciate what you have. No matter the darkness around you, you are far richer than you may think. When the world starts getting you down, look around with open eyes. A moment's pain can be waylaid by realising you have support all around you.

Life Lessons

I wouldn't normally write about things like this here, or anywhere online, but I am kind of at a loss right now. My step mom Mary went thru surgery earlier this year to remove the top lobe of her right lung. Now, only a few months later, a couple of new nodes have appeared, and, well, survival odds from lung cancer is never very good.

Whatever this is, benign or malignant, it may not matter. She is not up to another operation, or any of the other standard approaches to cancer treatment. She has another complication: dementia that was compounded by the anesthesia from the last operation. To boot, she has always been slight, and has lost nearly 20 lbs since the operation. She will not survive. It doesn't take an oncologist to put it all together.

I have faced cancer now too many times, and people's grasping at straws is the really hard part. My dad truly loves this woman with all his heart, and to lose her is going to be a real blow. He is a very healthy active 86 year old, and I think I am more stressed out by what this will do to him than what I know will be Mary's outcome. Is that wrong?

One person's life is not worth more than another, but I think my step sister and I both knew pretty early on that her mom was going to be heading down a long road, and we all knew where it would end. How, and how long, well, are pretty much up for grabs at this moment. I am a firm believer that quality of life is far more important than quantity. Out of fear of the unknown, we cling to life as though it were some kind of great possession. Truly, I tell any with the ears to hear, dying is easy. It is stepping thru a doorway. Being here, in this illusion, trying to suss out how to work thru all the crap we put ourselves thru, that's the hard part.

Watching a parent pass over is rough. Nothing anyone tells you will prepare you for it, period. I think I am remembering a lot of the rough times I went thru with my own mom, and it is tainting how I react to this. I can't take my father's fear or pain away. I can only be there to take up the slack on the other stuff, so he can have time to deal with what matters most to him. I have managed to put myself in the fight-or-flight mode this evening, and get a headache out of it in the meanwhile.

I am going to go do something simple, for me, and try to forget for awhile that this journey is far from over.

You see? This is why we look for someone else to walk thru this world with. Things like this are so much easier when one has another to help share the burden.
How I survive this crap alone, I do not know.

self realization?

I have long wondered just why in this life I seem to be unable to find a relationship that I am willing to work at. I think in a moment of frustration, I have just come to an understanding about myself. I am too strong.

what I am looking for in this world is a man who is capable of giving me the same kind of love and support that he wants to get. Doesn't seem to be a really common trait in males. They all want to be mothered- or at least the ones who come to me.
I get tired of standing on my own and having to be the one who can face trial after trial after trial without falling down. I am really tired of doing it alone too.....

In the last week now, three different sets of friends, none of whom I would ever have turned down to help, have come to me. I have often described myself as a bartender- everyone wants to talk about their whoas, but no one offers to listens in return. If I served and charged for alcohol, at least I could make a living at it!

Seriously, every once in a great while I start understanding more of me. People see me as this tremendously vast reservoir of strength, failing to realize that even a reservoir must be refilled now and then. I do not seem, to me anyway, to get much back from what I give out. I have to wonder sometimes where it is I get enough of this to take care of me on top of it all. I guess that's why I am a bit of a monk. Time alone is the only regeneration tool I have.

Perhaps therein is the bigger problem. Not a whole lot of guys understand a woman needing time away from them. It feels like rejection to them, and it is tough to explain to someone how much of a drain the world is sometimes, without it sounding as though that person is part of the problem. Somewhere, there has got to be a guy strong enough to let me be the healer I am , able to let me be exactly what I need to be, and yet be capable of being there when the world crushes me a little too much. I've got a feeling he might have to be a saint......

(day or so later- sorry if I sound whiny. I was. Exhaustion can do that. I occasionally could use someone to make chicken soup for me too. Everyone does.)

Walker Between The Worlds

Lil bit of a shocker...I have been exploring a new tarot deck, first electronically, as it is out of print, and now with a deck I paid a great deal for. It's called the Greenwood Tarot, and is pre-celtic shamanistic, according to its creatours. All I am personally sure of is that it feels very organic, very centered, to these fairly experienced hands. Runes have always been more my style, but this deck has the possibility of becoming integral to my continued learning and teaching.

The title of this piece is about a card I just "drew" on the electronic system. Heron/Queen of cups.....heron apparently is consider a gateway between the here and the hereafter. I have long called myself a walker between the worlds. I was taken aback by this card being so predominate in the reading. What I mean by the name I gave myself is that things - mortal things- come to me to die. The veil is thin for me; I know what is on the other side, and how to get there. To my own dismay, for many years I noticed that creatures seemed to come into my life, only to pass away not long afterwards. I was in my late 20s before I started to understand that they saw in me someone who could make their passing easier. I even aided my own grandmother in her passing over, as I would have for my mother, had circumstances let me.

Slowly, I came to see this bizarre attraction as a gift, not a burden. Too many people are terrified by death and dying, failing to understand that it is just one more step in the dance.I have the ability to teach them that dying isn't hard.

And I am a bit freaked out that a tarot card sees this.

Okay, well not the card, but it seems I am reminding myself of something that gets put on the back burner now and then when living gets too rough. I am a loner, and this appears to be one of the reasons why. Not too many people are understanding when you say things like this about yourself, ya know?

Going over the rest of the reading,I am not so certain of what my intent was with it. Think I wasn't really whole-heartedly into what the reading was for. At this hour of the AM, after being up 20 hours, I suspect I know why! Anyway, I do recommend using the online readings for those who like to explore this sort of thing. It is a shame that it is such a collectible that most will not be able to afford it. May you find a nice spinster aunt/witch to leave a deck to you later in life!

What Is Love?

That's an eternal question isn't it? Is it lust for another's body, connection to that person's soul through union, or something more intangible? I think sometimes it is a bit of all three.
What is it that draws two people together? My parents ended up divorcing after 32 years together, but my dad right now has been married to my step mom almost as long.
today is my mother's birthday, and i wonder of her. She spent all of her life after the divorce without other male companionship. She told me she only ever loved one man.
My dad, on the other hand, is home right now with my ailing step-mom. she has a ementia problem, and today is being a bad day. Still, at 86, he is willing to stick out the situation, knowing she will never get better, but also knowing that he may be the one person who can keep her under some control, so she doesn't get hurt ot frightened.
Both of those things speak of love. It teeters somewhere between selfishness and self-less-ness. i just haven't quite figured out the point of overlap between two people, and the point of individuality that drew them together in the first place.

I keep looking, keep trying. Maybe that's why I am here this time around.

Self-realization

I have just become painfully aware that I am too jealous a person for relationships.

I had thought it was just my refusal to be the *@(@$*% barbie doll bullshit creatures that men seem to be attracted to for some equally masochistic reason, but that's apparently not it. I am insecure- never denied that- but now I realise it is almost to the point of an illness. I will NOT fight over a guy. I refuse. If he doesn't want me, and can be tempted away too easily by words from another, he's not for me.

That's probably asking a lot of most guys too. Never thoughtI'd say it, but it looks like I am rather high-maintenance. I need security in more than just a monetary sense. I have been neglected and abandoned several times in this life, and possibly others, and it is colouring how I deal with this life. I am tough- damned tough- or I wouldn't have survived this long. But I am a healer, a gentle, empathetic soul, and I guess I am looking for a protector. Ironically, that is the last thing I seem to attract.

A knight in shining armour? I don't think I am that naive. What I do think is that I need something that men of this day are not trained well to be. We've been so busy trying to get them in touch with their sensitive side that the other part, the one that wants to be the protector for POSITIVE reasons, has gotten suppressed or bloated out of proportion.

I hated the freaking song in the '80's but it may be a truer statement than I'd like to admit: I need a hero.

ah me. Sadly, I think I speak for a lot of women. I know many who will probably nod in agreement as they read this. Wonder if they too can find the guts to admit it.

Just thinking

sitting here alone on a Saturday AM....much I should be doing and will get to.....
I am in anticipation of something arriving that I finally conceded to buy the other day. It was probably horribly overpriced, but it is a collectour's item and something I have become completely intrigued by: The Greenwood tarot deck. It was created in the '90's, when the pagan world saw a glut of new tarot decks put out. I even have one based on crop circles! I bought it for the pictures, not to use it as a deck, but come on! If we truly knew what the silly glyphs meant, you think we'd be still wondering about them?! I have been given at least three other decks that I will not use in all likelihood, by well meaning family and friends, "indulging" their witch friend's "hobby." Only a handful have understood I talk to the runes, not the cards. And that it is no "hobby."

Anyway, I am just excited about getting to study these cards! I have been using a couple of online sites and am personally astounded at how accurate many of the readings have been. I usually, when I read cards, use the Thoth deck. I was something of an honourary member of a ceremonial magick group here and thus picked up Uncle Al's deck by proxy. It's a very complex set of pictures to interpret sometimes. The Greenwood seems to flow much more naturally. (Not to malign my now deceased friends, but ceremonial magick always felt like someone trying to remove himself from the human condition, be outside of it, rather than one confident enough to jump in feet first, and LIVE.)

Every now and then one must listen to one's instincts. I saw and felt this set through electronics, and got very attached to it, and disappointed that it is out of print. I am not a collectour in the true sense, but I was compelled to give in and pay the price being asked. I feel it was right. I am curious was direct touch, after I clear the deck of course, will do for the readings. I feel a certain familiarity to this set, like I did to the runes first time I laid hands on them. This should be an interesting trip.

TRANSITION TIME APPROACHING

Ashtar here - greetings from Command Central, comrade. There is confusion among the Lightworkers of Earth now, my friend. Many are wondering if change is really taking place. Do you really and ruly approach the time of Transition and Ascension into the 5th dimensional of reality? Is the chaos of humanity leading to a self-imposed destruction of Earth instead of a healing of the planet? Is the Plan still functioning and on schedule ?



The Plan is secure and on course, directing humanity forward to aggressively participate in 'life'. By this I mean that there is not time now for being asleep - it is long past the time of conscious awakening to the reality of which you live in - the 3-D consciousness that longs for its evolutionary jump into higher possibilities of Being. It is somewhat like a primal urging within your cellular system that has just been activated and now projects a voice that would direct your consciousness into a 'knowingness' that there is much more to life than all of your lifelong teachings have proven to be.




This internal cellular change is due to the fact of DNA structural redesign, programmed by the Plan to commence at this time period and bring about a transfer of information to the forefront of your cellular memory that has laid dormant for eons of time. It is to be considered a blessing that you have been given the key to freedom of memory - memory of who you truly are within the realm of consciousness. This period of time is being utilized now by the commissioned emissaries of the Creator Source to activate and heal the damaged internal cellular bridgework within you is just in the beginning stages.



Completion of the process will be determined by the degree of willingness, or willfulness, each individual allows, for whether or not you are aware of the inner changes, your higher consciousness knows exactly what is happening to the physical body and encourages the 'will' to allow a speedy and complete orientation to the finalization of the repairs.




The Plan calls for competition of the design in line with the eve of actual dimensional transfer into the higher vibrations of the 5th level frequency. There has been some disagreement among those of Earth who communicate with us and pass along our messages as to whether or not this will be a conscious, mass occurrence, or that of individual time sequences. I will say that even though not all advance along the same rate of growth in their awakenings, it will be that all who choose to transit into higher realms will indeed be called to do so at the same moment in time, and therefore the point of Transition has been arranged to permit complete cellular reconstruction to be finalized according to this timetable.




The internal changes have brought about the random and complicated emotions being played out in the physical and identified by the individual as problematic emotions, desires, periods of depression and elation, physical ailments of every kind, mental doubts and insecurities, and just about every kind of random problem that you could think of. This is due to the individuals' subconscious fighting with the cellular change occurring - the desire for remaining in the former comfort of what was limited yet familiar.




Re-opening the direct passage to complete memory within the human is a very complicated procedure, and you are moving through this process very quickly. This would be similar to the speed of walking compared to the speed of running, or the speed of a car compared with the speed of a jet. You are being processed at the speed of a jet, but your body moves at a crawl. To assist the process and not suffer the uncomfort of negative side affects, you must simply be aware of the process and give attention to it, through meditation and conscious, deliberate permission - to yourself - that you do indeed allow the quickening of your cellular memory to be healed. Is that not what you have been preparing for, my friends ?



Actual Transition time is growing near. The span of linear time for admittance into the 5th dimensional frequencies shortens with each moment. Linear time will be only a remembrance of a reality in which you participated under the veil of deep forgetfulness. You travel to a much more joyous existence now, one not tattered with limitation or fear, but one of pure love and joy! Commend yourselves now for holding onto Truth and seeing through your hearts desire to consciously transit to a new place and time and to a new realm of Masterhood.

Those who continue to ignore the inner guidance, but would prefer to wallow in the shadow of fear and misery, sometimes masked as power and control, will be given the home they so desire. But as we have told you many many times, this Earth is Ascending, and it is with Her that you shall travel onward. Be assured of this my friends.

There are many that see the changes - the physical changes, as in weather changes, earth changes, society erupting into confusion and corruption, murder and mayhem - that would think that the Plan must take them into the very seat of destruction before Transition arrives. How many people will actually be spared to have the opportunity of Transition if the physical earthplane is crumbled under the changes? Do not loose faith, for we have said that it is your choice to participate in the Transition, and so it will be. There is a Plan that foregoes human imagination and comprehension, and the need for verification is unwarranted. You will be assisted by those of numerous planetary systems. All is in place; all territory has been covered.

In this time of uncertainty, I recommend a vigilant regime of daily meditation, a simple, healthy diet and plenty of fresh air and exercise. I sound like a parent no doubt, but your physicality calls for just that - this is how you are designed. These things will help you assimilate the cellular changes going on and the massive amounts of high frequency energy input directed into your atmosphere at all times by the Hierarchy. Remember that you are moving constantly towards a new placement in the heavens, which adds to the physical complications.

Also know that no nuclear weapons will be allowed to be dispensed upon the Earth, the Confederation will see to that. Other dangers facing humanity are very real, but I remind you that you can be in safety always - ask for assistance from the Higher Realms and visualize only positive realities for yourselves. I cannot say that often enough.

In these last hours of preparation for Transition - truly just moments in the timeline of the Great Plan - devoutly reaffirm your commitment to spiritual growth and your renewed awakened state of being. Focus only on the positive aspects of this journey, not those of negative proportions, such as the physical changes developing around you. The Earth has the right to cleanse herself of the impurities as she makes her way to a higher realm of Being, just as your cellular structure is changing, so too is that of the Earth.

All things now are in preparation of the journey. View these changes with respect and love... transmute all negativity around you into the vibration of Love... strive to attain full consciousness and ask that your eyes be open to see Truth and your ears to hear Truth at all times. Then envision for yourselves the peace and joy that is your birthright and acknowledge that you are co-creator with All That Is !

Our reunion with the Lightworkers of Earth is soon to be realized. Welcome that time and, as the Community of Light assembles, prepare to fulfill your destined role in the Plan of the Creator Source of Love and Light. WONDEROUS CHANGES

It is I Ashtar. I bring to you this day messages of great joy, for we are all coming together most beautifully. We of the command have a message that we would share: to hold within your hearts the knowingness, the possibility that great and wonderous changes are flowing to the earth at this time, and to simply allow that to be felt as joy, as a lifting within you.

Recognise that this energy that is flowing to you, to the earth is of your higher aspect, of your true beingness emanating from the source, from your I AM PRESENCE cascading down through the dimensions. Recognise that we are simply a part of that oneness and that we are passing that energy on to you. You are the ones who are affecting the transformation upon your level of creation. Recognise in that way that it is through your efforts and through your openness that these changes might be realised. Transcend the illusions around you, the darkness that is at work and allow a clear focussed point of light to be drawn forward through the darkness and illusion. Allow that energy to become grounded and established, more expanded within your own beingness upon the planet.

In this way you will draw forward all possibilities and the opening for our merging, for our coming together, and this is most critical at this timing.

For you see we are approaching critical mass, the point at which rapid awakening and expansion of light will manifest, and as we approach this point of convergence our merging of realities becomes possible and more apparent. The planetary vibrations are reaching that point of shifting to a higher frequency - a sudden increment or jump of the planetary energies and movement into light. And whether humanity is ready or not this will occur - it is unstopable.

So I ask you all remain in the flow and attuned that you may move with the planetary energies that you may assist this shifting most harmoniously and assist those around you who are not in tune in resonating with this movement.

We of the command are co-ordinating this shifting, we are working with the earth through this process, but it is the earth, it is the planetary body that is making this leap. We are the mid-wives so to speak of this birthing, of this shifting into light, into a higher vibrational frequency. So be at readiness dearest ones as this timing approaches - you will be on call, you will be in need. We are sending out the word informing you at many levels through many communication mediums and channels so that those of you who are open will be at readiness and in a state of wakefulness.

Our presence is surrounding you - around your energies. Open dearest ones of the light for we are here - we are with you assisting you as you move through these wondrous events and transformations. Planet earth is entering a new era, a new golden age. Realise and anchor it into your hearts dearest ones as a joy, as a great upliftment, as a great influx of energy of light. Begin that golden age now in this moment for all is at readiness and we are waiting for the vibrations, for the energies to be in that most perfect alignment.

As you do this you create that alignment and we connect in joy. Be at readiness, be open for all that is to come - that is now manifesting. I bid you farewell as I surround you in my loving presence.

ON ASCENSION

Hello, I would like to briefly present an overall view of the ascension. I know that some of you already have a very good idea of what it is all about, but I do not want to assume that everyone that will be reading this does.

At its heart, the ascension is a spiritual awaking and a step to the next level of spiritual development. You chose to be born into a physical body to experience and learn from what the Earth has to offer. In most cases, you learn by being born into each life with a limited understanding of the spiritual being that you are. We are here to help you expand your awareness of yourself and to help those who wish to take that step to move on to their next level of spiritual development.

To ascend is to complete your 3D Earth studies and graduate to the next level. When you ascend you move beyond many of the limitations that you have on the 3D Earth and you regain a more complete conscious connection with your higher self and All That Is (God).

The Earth is multidimensional. It exists in many dimensions simultaneously and in each consecutive dimension there is greater spiritual awareness. Each dimension is separated by levels of conscious awareness.

For purposes of our discussions we will always refer to the Earth that people will be ascending to as the 5th dimensional (5D) Earth. Dimensions are not really numbered, but it makes it easier to talk about them in that way, and the term 5D is a very popular reference that is used by many people.

The 5D Earth is a physical planet and the experiences there are somewhat similar to that of this 3D Earth. Some of the differences are that people are much more consciously connected to their higher self and much more aware of the Oneness that exists between all beings. Because of this understanding the 5D Earth is a very beautiful and peaceful planet.
There are many Light workers on the Earth now to help people with the preparation that is needed to ascend. In the future they will complete their own ascensions and teach all over the world. Right now these Light workers are helping by channeling Sananda (Jesus), the Archangels, the Ascended Masters, and many other higher dimensional beings. Bringing their messages, love and energy to the Earth.

Light workers are people who are from the higher dimensions who have incarnated on the Earth in this lifetime to help with the ascension. Most Light workers have incarnated on the Earth many times over the millenniums as teachers and spiritual leaders, helping and supporting the spiritual development of people on the Earth.

There are decisions that you need to make about your future. You have many options. You can choose to remain as you are and go on living your life and ignore the ascension completely. You can become more spiritually aware and work with your higher self and guides on a more conscious level and decide to stay on this 3D Earth to live out the rest of your natural life in a more awakened state. Or you can make a decision to physically ascend, when the time comes, to the 5D Earth. There are no wrong decisions and you can trust yourself and follow your heart as to what is best for you personally.

There will come a time in the future when there will be a mass ascension of all the people who wish to ascend. This time will be determined by when people are ready, there is no predetermined date. When the time comes for most people to make the decision of whether or not to ascend, they will understand exactly what will happen if they do ascend and what they have to do in preparation for it.

A part of the preparation is to become more consciously connected with your spiritual self, your higher self. Your higher self is the full spiritual being that you are beyond all of your physical lives.

Every person on the Earth is capable of opening to their own higher self for conscious reconnection and for guidance by them. Becoming aligned with your higher self will help you greatly during the years of preparation for the ascension. People can also call on their own guides and any higher dimensional teacher to help them. It is especially important during these years of expanded spiritual awakening and preparation for ascending to be very connected with your guidance so that you can trust in and better understand what you are undertaking.

Even though the final ascension will be a mass ascension, it is still a very individual process and experience. Each person has to prepare themselves in a way that will best suit them. This may be a little different for everyone, because everyone is starting out from a different degree of higher self awareness and a different set of spiritual beliefs.

You do not have to make a final decision about whether to ascend or not until the time of the mass ascension. But you can give yourself the opportunity to ascend by preparing yourself for it now ; by being more open to your higher self and seeking out greater spiritual truths and understandings. You can discern what you need to read or hear, and people you need to be with for your own ascension process, by following your heart and trusting what rings true to you.

Basic Rules for Cats Who Have A House to Run:

* CHAIRS & RUGS: If you have to throw up, get into a chair quickly. If you cannot manage in time, get to an Oriental rug. If no Oriental rug, shag will do.

* DOORS: Do not allow closed doors in any room. To get a door opened, stand on hind legs and hammer with forepaws. Once door is opened, it is not necessary to use it. After you have ordered and outside door opened, stand halfway in and out,and think about several things. This is particularly important during very cold weather, rain,snow,and mosquito season.

*GUESTS: Quickly determine which guest hates cats the most. Sit on that human’s lap. If you can arrange to have Friskies Fish N Glop on your breath, so much the better.
For sitting on laps or rubbing against trousers,select a fabric colour which contrasts well with your fur. For example: white-furred cats go to black wool clothing.
For the guest who claims “I love Kitties,” be ready with aloof distain; apply claws to stockings or use a quick nip to the ankle.
When walking among the dishes on the dinner table, be prepared to look surprised and hurt when scolded. The idea is to convey “But you allow me on the table when company isn’t here.”
Always accompany the guest to the bathroom. It is not necessary to do anything.
Just sit and stare.

* WORK: If one of your humans is sewing or writing and the other is idle,stay with the busy one. This is called helping, otherwise known as hampering. Following are the rules for hampering:
1. When supervising cooking, sit just behind the left heel of the cook. You cannot be seen and thereby stand a better chance of being stepped on, picked up and consoled.
2. For book readers, get in close under the chin, between the human’s eyes and the book, unless you can lie across the book itself.
3. For knitting, curl up quietly onto the lap of the knitter ad pretend to dose.Occasionally reach out and slap the knitting needles sharply. This can cause dropped stitches or split yarn. The knitter may try to distract you with a scrap ball of yarn. Ignore it. Remember, the aim is to hamper he work.

*PLAY: It is important to get enough sleep in the daytime so you are fresh for playing catch mouse or king-o-the-hill on their bed between 2 and 4 AM.

* Begin people-training early. You will then have a smooth running household.Humans need to know basic rules. They can be taught if you start early and are consistent.

Omni was a Seventies attempt to combine science with science fiction. One would find inside both of those and sometimes some fringe stuff with all sorts of neat photography and graphics. It couldn’t survive the Eighties, in the face of more direct science mags like Discover, and a slackening of true science fiction writing. That whole section of literature has changed a lot over my lifetime. Half of it ranks more as fantasy now that scifi.

Anyway, the article I had pulled out I assumed at first was for the lovely photos in it. That’s until I started reading the comments under the pictures. They were predictions made by George Gallup Jr., yes, the man of the Gallup Poll, about the year 2000. It was still 15 years in our future, and the new century and millennium still held some bizaare fascination for us. This was WELL before the scare about the date flipover that shook up so many people. As a matter of fact, it was well before computers were a common thing. Oh they were out there, but they were slow and clunky, and required that you understood DOS. DOS was computer language, and since most of us didn’t have the patience to get to know the details, computers remained, at least in the private sector, a nerd thing.

Ipods....cell phones smaller than your palm.....the Internet......satellite television......home robots (a vaccuum cleaner, granted, but it’s a start).....Hell, even the Walkman didn’t exist.

U2 were still just a bunch of nice guys from Dublin, and produced their finest album to date as far as I am concerned that year :”Unforgetable Fire.” I won’t even TRY to get into all the music of the day. Let’s just leave it at this- it was over twenty years ago, and unless you lived through it, you really know nothing about it. History books never do justice to the real thing.

Anyway, it being that I have come to detest U2, didn’t mean to drop them into the convo here. They meant a lot to me back then.

On to the predictions-

I thought it to be an interesting thing to write these out here, let you see how someone who is supposedly in touch with the world saw things going back then. Let you see what he thought would happen. If you are 25 or better, chances are, you know from personal experience exactly what has happened.
Let’s see if he got it right....

NUCLEAR FUTURE
When asked how life in the year 2000 might differ frm today’s, all the experts headed their lists with dire predictions of nuclear war. Nearly 80% not only favor a United states-Soviet Union agreement to stop building nuclear weapons but urge the destruction of all existing stockpiles. And 50% of those polled suggest there be a global referendum to allow the citizens of every nation to vote on nuclear disarmament.

TECHNOFUTURE
Technology, especially automation and computerization, will foment (sic) the greatest changes in history by 2000- more so than the economy, overpopulation, or politics.

{Oh boy, they weren’t too far off the mark. The average family in 2006 spent over $1500 on electronics. Irony here though- the picture going along with this looks suspiously like a BORG cube........Considering they were four years in the future, Star Trek: The Next Generation.....well, I am a little creeped out.}

MEDICAL PROGNOSIS
A most encouraging trend, says Gallup’s opinion leaders, is an increased commitment to medical research. In the next century, Americans will enjoy longer lives.

{pretty.....uh...lame? Over twenty years ago, obesity, diabetes, and AIDS were not epidemic. Nobody apparently saw any of that coming.}

I am not EVEN going to go into the religious bullshit dumped into the article. Organized religion is a bane to the entire world, and needs to die. Nothing has ever improved because of religion: it is the great divider, and will bring down nations. This one is NOT immune to that either. But I must say this- if the polled “experts” of that day saw a problem with our moral decay, why wasn’t more done to truly bolster that? It isn’t up to the churches.It is up to those who lead to give a better vision of what we each can be. Instead, we have a government chock full of whores, thieves and liars. Is it any wonder the general malaise that haunts urban life right now proliferates?
What give anyone the courage to live a moral life, when the wealthy are caught stealing from the poor on a regular basis?

No conclusions. I know better than to try to say what will be next week, much less in twenty years. I guarantee no one envisioned what is happening now in our world. There were no Nostradomuses in the 20th century. Who could keep up with the mass of changes that have occured just since 2000? I would love to know what Mr. Gallup would have to say in retrospect.

What was it about?

A crop cirle made of multiple circles- what would be called a fractal- appeared in the fields in the UK on 7-7-07. It took awhile for someone to see it, but it resembles what is to the left of this page, very closely.

There was also another glyph found that day that was a yin-yang- the ancient Chinese symbol from the I Ching for balance and harmony.

Irony of all ironies, that same day was the next step in what is supposed to be a progression of the human species on the moleular level.

Earth

Been reading a new- to me- book, by David Brin: "Earth." It was originally published in 1990, and it is absolutely frightening how much of the future from that year he has gotten right. Global warming. Gas and other resource shortages. Population explosion among humans and the astounding devastation it is causing all around the world, even those places untouched by the escalation of technology. The World Wide Web, and what its proliferation has meant to the "globalization" of our world. Spying by both governmental bodies and individual citizens and the affect that has had on our levels of privacy. The list continues to grow, and I have only read about half the book. It is a big one.
I feel like I am reading a Jules Verne type novel, full of weird insight into our potential future, and frankly,it's scary. If this fellow is right, and growing evidence in the world around me says he just might be, by the time I reach my father's age (he will be 86 this year,) everything I have known since growing up will be changed for good or gone.

It is a fact of being mortal, born to this body and this world, that we will all die, and that everything we have known will pass away. Of the multitudes that have come before my generation, only the smallest handful of things remain. From things we know- the Great Wall, the pyramids of various countries, the dusty and oft times looted towns, villages, and even cities buried by the eons that have passed, we try to piece together some understanding of our very short (on a cosmic scale) human existence. We try to understand when we diverged from animals to being something too many of us think superior. I must agree with one description in the book: man may think of itself as the "brain" of this planet, living entity that it is, but no brain tries to destroy the body it inhabits. At least not if it is sane. Our reckless destruction of the surface of this ancient being will end only in our own demise. We will taint beyond use all those things most needed for us and the species we depend on to continue as we have for only a few tens of thousands of years.

I am personally of a mind that we are the great destroyers, the Kali Ma, of this, the next in a series of great die-outs this planet has gone through over the course of its 4 plus billion year existence. LIFE is actually not what the planet is about, and when it gets out of hand- whether microbe, dinosaur, or human- Gaia chooses to kill off most of it, using life itself as the perpetrator. Thus, we are actually doing precisely what we are created for.

Somehow, that is not a good thought, but it is a sobering one. I just kind of hope I do not have to live til all the crap hits the fan. It is a relatively slow progression now by our standards, taking a few generations, but it could speed up at any moment. I tell you now, it will not be a pleasant thing.
More about the book when I have finished. It haunts me now as it is. I do not think it will go away anytime soon.

After the physical body has fallen asleep, the astral body always projects into the physical world. Once the energy body has expanded, the astral body floats free and hovers just above the physical body, but within the expanded energy body's field of influence. Within this field, known as cord activity range, the astral body is held close to the physical world as it is within a field of etheric matter.

During a conscious astral projection it may appear as if you are projecting straight into an astral plane. But there is always an intermediary phase at the beginning, when you are existing as an astral form close to the physical dimension. This, real time part of any projection, may be missed if you black out at the moment of projection. The area around the body, within cord activity range, is flooded with etheric matter and within this field the astral body is held in real time close to the physical dimension.


Etheric Matter

Etheric matter is the actual life force substance generated by all living things by simply being alive. It is a substance in-between physical matter and astral matter, part physical and part astral. This etheric matter has actual weight. It is a very refined substance in between matter and energy and is similar to its coarser cousin, ectoplasm.

There have been scientific studies done on this phenomena. Dying people in hospitals have had their beds placed on delicate scales shortly before death and hooked up to EEG and ECG monitors. In all cases, at the exact moment of death, a sudden weight loss of approximately one quarter of an ounce is observed. This is caused by a large amount of etheric matter being transferred into the astral body at the moment of physical death. This is similar to the sudden transfer of etheric matter into the astral body during a near death experience where the body believes it is dying. This sudden, massive transfer of etheric matter is the start of the death process.


Ectoplasm

Ectoplasm has been studied in a similar fashion. Materialisation mediums have been placed on delicate scales and then asked to produced ectoplasm onto another set of fine scales. These mediums were observed to lose weight at exactly the same rate as the weighed ectoplasm gained weight. When the medium reabsorbed the ectoplasm this weight transfer was reversed. Ectoplasm is produced by the chakras. It converts part of the physical mass of the mediums body into another substance, ectoplasm.


Interdimensional Manifestation

Any non-physical or disincarnate entity, including the astral body, in order to function, in real time, close to the physical dimension; must contain etheric matter. Without etheric matter, nonphysical entities fade back into their dimension of origin. Etheric matter can only be obtained from living inhabitants of the physical world.

Energy Flow



The famed "Silver Cord" does more than just tie the two bodies together. It is a true umbilical cord, transmitting information and energy between the physical and subtle bodies. It is seen by some projectors and not seen by others. Sometimes it is seen emanating from the navel, sometimes from the forehead. The area the cord is seen emanating from may depend on chakra activity. Whichever chakra is the strongest, most active, could have control of energy flow to the subtle bodies. There is also the belief system of the projector to consider and the creative power of the subconscious mind. The cord will usually appear to be wherever you believe it will be, courtesy of the subconscious.

Once the astral body enters the astral dimension it must have a good supply of astral energy from the chakras in order to interact strongly with that dimension. Clear astral memory depends greatly on the amount of energy available. As the astral dimension is the natural domain of the astral body, it will not fade out of it due to a lack of energy. As in the real world, if a person hasn't eaten or slept for a few days they don't dissolve into another dimension. They just get weak and listless and don't interact strongly with the physical world.

What it boils down to is this: The astral mind must have enough energy to give it strong, vivid memories. These astral memories must be strong enough to make a good sized wrinkle in the physical brain, so the physical mind can recall them when it wakes up.

For example, if you haven't slept for a few days you will be tired, listless and your interaction with reality will be weak and vague. If you see a movie in this tired state you will retain little memory of it. Afterwards, you may only remember fragments of it and your memory of it will be a vague blur. If, however, you see a movie when you are well rested, fresh and full of energy, it is different. You take in everything about the movie and enjoy it. Your memory of it will be crystal clear.

This is similar to what happens after a low powered astral journey. The astral body lacks energy and so does not have clear enough impressions of its journey. This causes it to fail making its memories the dominant ones when it returns return to the physical body. As I stated earlier, there must be strong, vivid memories if a wrinkle is to be made in the physical brain and the experience remembered.



Chakras Use


Fully developing the chakras and learning how to control them can take many years, depending on natural ability. This will not, however, stop you using them in a very basic way; to enhance your OOBE's and lucid dreams, at a very early stage in your development. Raising energy and stimulating the chakras is extremely simple to do. This raised energy will automatically flow into your astral body, prior to and during projection.

By learning to raise energy and control the flow of power through the chakras, the nature of your dreams, lucid dreams and OOBE's will change. They will become vivid and unforgettable experiences. This, in a way, gives you a second life, full of rich experiences you can enjoy, learn and grow from.


Higher Levels And Their Buffer Zones

The commonly accepted names for the seven known levels of existence, from lowest to highest, are: Physical, Astral, Mental, Buddhic, Atmic, Anupadaka and Adi. These higher planes are similar in structure to the astral dimension but at a much higher level of consciousness and are completely separate from it. In between the different levels are intermediary areas or buffer zones, sometimes called lower sub planes.

A good analogy for the different dimensions and their buffer zones is the Earth's atmosphere: If the air in the Earth's atmosphere was the astral dimension, the stratosphere would be the buffer zone and the vacuum of space would be the mental dimension. You can fly in the Earth's atmosphere in a normal air plane/astral body. A very powerful jet plane is needed to take you into the stratosphere, but you need a space ship/mental body, to travel through space. This explains why a different subtle body is needed to travel into these different levels of existence.

The astral body can enter the buffer zones, or sub planes, of the dimensions above and below the astral dimension, if it contains the correct type of energy. i.e. To exist in the buffer zone between the physical/astral levels (in real time) the astral body must contain etheric energy. To exist in the buffer zone between the astral/mental levels it must contain mental energy.


Higher Level Projection

With enough control over the chakras, the energy for these higher levels can be produced. The production of one particular type of energy will raise the consciousness to that level and energise the corresponding subtle body. This is usually done by consciousness raising meditation and advanced energy work on the chakras. The consciousness can then experience that level of existence. If enough energy is available, and conditions are right, the meditator can project that particular subtle body directly into its natural dimension.

Depending on the skill and natural ability of the operator, if a higher body is energised and projected so, usually, are the lower ones. The astral body contains within it all the other subtle bodies and can, during a projection, project the mental body into the mental dimension and so on. This will sometimes give multiple sets of memories from the one projection. The general rule is, whichever subtle body contains the greatest amount of energy, will have the strongest memories. These dominant memories will be the ones retained by the physical mind upon its return to the waking state.

Projecting consciously into levels higher than the astral dimension takes a high level of skill. You need to be proficient in both consciousness raising and chakra control, but it is achievable. I have, so far, projected into the Astral, Mental, Buddhic and Atmic levels of existence. It is commonly believed that it is only possible for a human to project into the Astral, Mental and Buddhic levels and not possible to project into the higher Adi and Anupadaka.

These dimensions have been named, and are described, so someone must have been there or they would be unknown. If you realise the true nature of the mind you will understand there are no limits. It was also once said that the sound barrier would never be broken.

BTW: These dimensions don't have signposts on them saying Welcome to the Astral dimension, ta...daa! or "Mental dimension, watch your mind!". So I will describe the higher levels I have been to using these accepted names.


The Astral Dimension



This is a topsy-turvy world like Alice found in Wonderland. Everything seems objective (real) but is changeable and fluid. Anything and everything can be found there, from base, coarse levels full of sexual energy; to beautiful, serene places full of spiritual harmony. Time is distorted and extended there. An hour in the Astral can seem like only a few minutes here in the physical. Compared to the physical world it is at a much higher vibration. It's like playing a video tape at twenty times normal speed, although this is not apparent when you are there.

Moving amongst the astral dream pools is usually a hit or miss affair for most projectors. It takes a lot of experience to make planned astral journeys to specific realities.

There are an infinite number of realities, planes, realms and dream pools in this dimension. As I stated before, they naturally strata and settle into pools of related thought. During sleep, or in a lucid dream, the subconscious mind usually creates one especially for you, your own personal dream theatre. When you become aware during a dream, you take control over it. This control is taken over from the powerful subconscious mind. Without its powerful controlling influence, your personal custom created realm will change. You will begin tuning into other sympathetic parts of the astral, and the reality you are in will mix with other realities and take on different aspects.

In a conscious projection into the astral dimension, you can tune into any part of it and travel into different realities, other dream pools, or a mix of many. There are various techniques for this but they all involve some way to disorient the subconscious mind, tricking it into moving you into a different Astral reality. Some projectors look at their hands and watch them melt. Others spin around, causing left right reversals. These methods all disorient the mind and trick the subconscious into tuning into another part of the astral.

It's very difficult to describe how to move amongst the levels, you really have to learn by doing it, by trial and error. You have to learn how to use and control the subconscious mind, how to trick it for a specific result.


Virtual Reality Projection

Here is a simple, reliable method, I have developed, to create your own personal realm: Get a poster of a pleasant scene, something bright and sunny. The bigger the better, but standard poster size will do. Hang it on the wall of the room you are going to project in, or another room close by. Get a small spotlight and set it so the poster is highlighted when the main light is turned off, a normal directional bedside lamp will do. Place the light under, or above, so the light spreads out over it giving a diffused effect illuminating it, a bit like a movie screen.

Entering your custom realm: When you project, go towards the poster, keeping your mind blank. Don't think about what you are doing, just gaze at it and move towards it. As you approach it in this way, your subconscious mind will be tricked into creating an astral realm exactly like the poster. Just move up to and into the poster. It is like stepping into another world. Everything in this world will be exactly like in the poster. It will appear to be a normal three dimensional world, an exact copy, indistinguishable from reality.

To customise this world: Cut and paste small pictures of things, or people, you want to find in this world with you when you enter it. Don't just stick a whole picture on the poster. Get scissors and cut around the object, or person. Try and find pictures that are approximately the same scale as the poster. If you cut out a small picture of someone, living or dead, your subconscious will create a thought form shell of them and they will be there waiting for you. This may be an excellent way of communicating with those that have died.

Spirit Communication: (I have a theory) The subconscious creates this thought form shell of a person. This shell can be animated by the perfect, detailed memory of your subconscious. But, if there is love there, between the projector and this created person, the spirit of this, deceased person, will be drawn to this scenario and will use this opportunity to communicate with the projector, by animating the created image of their body.


The Akashic Records

These are found in the buffer zone between the astral and mental worlds, part astral part mental and, in a way, extending into all levels. They are a record of every thought and event that has ever occurred, like a huge, infinite, mental history, picture book. The Akashic records also contain probabilities stemming from, and created by, past events, actions and thoughts. This is like looking into the future. To make any kind of sense of the Akashic records yourself, some skill in clairvoyance is a definite help.

If you tune into the Akashic records yourself you will normally see those events with the greatest amount energy around them. Wars and disasters are the easiest to see because of this. The energy surrounding these events make them stand out above all the rest, making them easier to see. If you look into the future, the area of probabilities, you enter into a confusing maelstrom of symbolism mixed with actual events.

This future symbolism is caused by the belief systems of the major religions. Millions of people in the world have believed in some form of prophecy for thousands of years. Whether it is the Bible's "Book of Revelations" or the prophecies of Nostradamus. These ancient prophecies are all richly steeped in symbolism. This symbolism affects the way people think and dream about the future. This symbolism, in turn, manifests in the Akashic records as symbolic representations of future events. The symbolism is a big help, it makes consulting the Akashic records easier.

You can use the Akashic symbolism as an index. For example, the reference below to "The Dogs of War" is easily understandable as representing war. The "Grim Reaper" is a universal symbol of death and destruction. So, if you are interested in this kind of future event you tune into this symbolic index for WAR, then browse through the category of past and future wars. Apart from some clairvoyant ability, a knowledge of history, geography, religious symbolism, current affairs world leaders and heads of state is a big help; when indexing past and future events.

For example, in the future vision I give below: If I had known WHO the well known person I saw addressing a crowd below WAS, and recognised the country; I could have made an accurate prediction of future events instead of being wise, AFTER the event.

I entered the state of consciousness called the Akashic records. There I was inundated with a mass of symbolism. I was seeing in four dimensions at once. My conscious mind did not assimilate this very well. I saw wars, famines, plagues, disasters, earthquakes, volcanoes erupting, plane crashes, murders, etc, it was terribly confusing and depressing.

I saw one piece of symbolism I recognised though and tuned into it, indexed it. The Grim Reaper holding The Dogs of War (as described by various prophets) These dogs were fearsome beasts with Red eyes and slavering jaws. They were held in check by this hooded figure, with an evil skull for a face, carrying a sickle. He released these dogs as I watched, symbolising a coming war.

Tuning into this scene, I was there floating above it all, I could feel the sunshine and smell the city below me. I saw a man standing on a raised dais, under two giant scimitar swords. He was giving a charismatic speech to many thousands of people. One of the swords turned into a Christian Crusader's broad sword. The man was Saddam Hussein, the scene was in Baghdad, at the monument to the unknown soldier. I saw this six months before the Gulf war started. I did not learn WHO Saddam Hussein WAS, or WHERE this scene took place though, until it was televised during the gulf war.

Looking through the Akashic records is like leafing through an infinite mental photo album. You are bombarded with an awesome array of the sights and sounds of past, present and probable futures. You have to select one of these thought records, tune into it and enter it. You will then live through the record as if you were really there, watching it as it happens.

Consulting with the Akashic records can be done alone if you have the skill, but is normally done with the assistance of an advanced being from a higher level of existence. This is done as a sort of telepathic guided tour. The enormous amount of information and chaff is filtered out for you and the selected record, of past events or future probability, is presented to you clairvoyantly, via a telepathic link with the... librarian.

Some people claim to have entered the Akashic Records and found something like a library there, with real books. The past, present and future was recorded as text in these books. Some people even say they have read a record, then entered into it, and experience the record first hand.

All these claims are consistent with the Akashic Records. These are librarian assisted guided tours, where the Akashic Records have been presented as something familiar, easy to use and easy to accept.

The Mental Dimension

This is a spectacular dimension! Iridescent rivers of sound bounded by rainbow shores of pulsating light. Thoughts appear as kaleidoscopic patterns of light and sound. You walk across fields of ideas under a sparkling crystal sky of inspiration. If you enter this world don't try to rationalise or understand it, or you may go mad, for it is beyond human understanding. Just accept it all, go with the flow and enjoy it!

This dimension is what, I believe, the ancient Vikings called the famed "Rainbow Bridge" into Asgard. It truly looks and feels as if you are walking up a rainbow into some wonderful world where the Gods must surely dwell.

Exist here in wondrous amazement. Let loose the child within you to play in this fairy wonderland. Everything feels real and solid. Time is even further distorted here than in the Astral and reality is kaleidoscopic.


Buddhic Dimension

This is a warm, abstract world filled with utter peace and infinite love. It is a dimension of pure White. There is no sight or sound perception here other than the all pervading, brilliant White. In this dimension you very quickly relinquish conscious thought and individuality. You cannot think for long once you enter here and there is no need or desire to do so. There is an irresistible urge drawing you into a quiet stillness. It is like being immersed in warm, pure White cotton wool. In this world you cease to be an individual and you become, PART OF THE ONE. You also cease to be male or female. In a way this is like returning to the Mother's womb. You are surrounded, absorbed and assimilated by infinite loving warmth, understanding, forgiveness and atonement. AT-ONE-MENT

Time here ceases to have any meaning. If you enter this world you will never, ever want to leave it, you cannot leave it, until your physical body calls and drags you back. This is the healing, resting place of the soul.


Atmic Dimension

This dimension appears be the spirit world. Here, spirits wait for those they loved during their time on earth. This is the happy place of the gathering. It is the place where the reunion of souls takes place.

The light in this world is purest, brightest silver, brighter than the flash of an arc welder. It is so bright it seems impossible to look at, but it is, for all that, a supremely gentle light, soft and soothing. It is the light of divine love. The people here appear as they did in the physical world, but at their most magnificent. They glow ecstatically, ablaze with the brightest love, happiness and joy imaginable. The atmosphere is electric and vital, but at the same time deeply spiritual. In this world you can FEEL the presence of God as a tangible all pervading force.

Communication here, is done by high level telepathic imaging, similar to one-on-one clairvoyance only much more vivid and real. It leaves speech and thought for dead. Time stands utterly still here. Reality is more real and solid than normal reality. Compared to this, the physical world is a vague, tired dream full of half dead people.

I have entered this dimension only four times in my life. Each time from the very deepest consciousness raising meditation, with all my chakras wide open and fully functioning. There was also extreme crown chakra activity. The feeling of this was like a thousand fingers vibrating, and deeply massaging, the whole top of my head above the hairline.

On these four occasions my energy has soared to seemingly impossible heights within me, carrying my spirit and consciousness with it. At the climax of this deeply mystical experience I have heard the sound of one long, pure musical note slowly rising in pitch. I have felt this note in the core of my being, in my heart, calling me, drawing me to it.

I have focused on this note and attuned to it. With every ounce of strength and energy I possessed I have focussed my consciousness on it and projected to it. Stripping away my physical body, I have projected straight into this dimension. It was just like stepping, slipping, through a heavy curtain into another place and another world. I am still aware of my physical body, duality, during this whole experience.

I look about me with wonder, the light is so silver and bright it burns deeply into my soul and I can feel its healing touch within me. There in front of me is my long dead son. He was eight years old when he left me, and he looked just as he did when I last saw him. He was beaming with happiness, his eyes bright and shining. I cuddled him up to me and wept with the joy of seeing him. I looked beyond him and there was a large crowd of people waiting for me. These were all the friends and family I had known and loved and lost during my life. There were also many people I did not know. They all seemed very familiar though and I felt I loved them all. They were clapping and jumping up and down, cheering me in greeting. There were many tears of joy and lots of hugging and kissing.

Looking beyond them, I see we are in a natural stone amphitheatre. The ground is smooth rock and it rises to a ridge a couple of hundred meters away that curves towards us. On the top of this ridge are Angels. They looked just like Michaelangelo painted them. They were incredibly beautiful, with large White feathered wings, curly Golden hair and Alabaster skin. They were blowing long sparkling golden horns, and the pure high note came from them.

Stepping from the crowd I walked into the open. I look in awe at these angels and wave at them. The note started to die away as I did this and the Angels began lowering their horns. I stand for a timeless moment in silence, looking all around me. Then everything began to shimmer and I slipped, fell back into my physical body. I wept. I have never wanted to come back.


Death

When you leave your body for the final time, at death, this is what I believe will happen:

You will be projecting, in real time, for the first few days, close to the physical world, until your supply of etheric matter runs out. Then you will go through the second death and enter the Astral dimension. There, you will purge yourself of all desire, by being able to have anything you have ever wanted, in abundance. This is done through having the full use of your subconscious mind's powerful creative ability. Here you can saturate your every need and desire, until you see these desires for the illusions they really are.

You will then shed your Astral (desire body) and enter the Mental dimension. There you will see your past life, examine and express every thought you have ever had and every action you have ever done. There, your thoughts, memories and experiences will be added to the Akashic Record. Which is the recorded experience of the entire human existence in the physical dimension.

Shedding your mental body you will then enter the Buddhic dimension. There you will stay for timeless healing, for rest, atonement, forgiveness and understanding of self. In this world your inner wounds will heal and your soul will be nurtured by divine love. Your spirit will become whole and perfect once more.

Then you will shed your Buddhic body and enter the Atmic dimension. There you will wait in the divine presence for those you love. Then, one day, you will go on to the next level of existence; where the last great mystery of life will be revealed to you....
